About the Role:

The Assistant Estimator role is a key position within Chevron Traffic Management, supporting the commercial and operational teams in ensuring efficient contract delivery and assisting with the preparation and compilation of quotations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and build client relationships
  • Manage client portals, including prompt responses and data upload
  • Review client challenges in relation to submissions
  • Liaise with Operational Leads to understand scheme requirements
  • Review Traffic Management Design
  • Compile Target Cost backup substantiation sheet for clients
  • Undertake review and pricing compensation events
  • Attend weekly and monthly update meetings between commercial and operations
  • Update scheme and contract register

Requirements:

  • Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working within a commercial setting
  • Knowledge and experience of Temporary Traffic Management
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of software, especially Excel
  • Attention to detail and ability to think laterally and problem solve
  • Ability to build new and existing relationships with clients and suppliers
  • Full UK driving licence
