The CLR Group is seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Construction to lead our construction services team. As a senior management role, this position requires strong leadership and organisational skills to deliver high-quality construction services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Client relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and future requirements are scoped and delivered.
- Business development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through business contacts, contract tendering, and relationship building.
- Contract management: Assist in structuring and delivering tenders and client contracts.
- Market analysis: Monitor market forces and emerging opportunities to ensure the company is positioned to generate profit and grow sustainably.
- Operations: Work with the Head of Delivery to achieve agreed contract milestones.
- Performance management: Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Process improvement: Implement and evolve effective procedures and protocols.
- Staff management: Select, manage, develop, and retain a strong team.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports to clients and stakeholders.
- Compliance and regulation: Ensure strong governance and compliance with statutory requirements.
- MCIOB qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent computer and telephone skills
- Excellent management skills
- Base salary: £75,000
- OTE: £100,000+
- Hours: 0900 – 1800 Monday-Friday
- Contract: Permanent
- Location: Bankside, SE1
- Holiday: 25 days pa, in addition to Public Bank Holidays
- Pension: Company contribution
