Senior Private Client Tax Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join our expanding team in Guildford. As a key member of our private client tax team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of private clients, providing tax advisory and planning services, and supporting the team's growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary client contact, managing and advising on all tax matters while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Oversee project delivery for your portfolio, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to timelines.
- Provide clear, practical solutions on complex tax issues, and stay proactive in identifying tax planning opportunities.
- Maintain billing and cash collection efficiency for your portfolio and liaise with HMRC.
- Support the recruitment, training, and professional development of junior staff.
- Represent the firm at client meetings and contribute to internal training sessions.
Requirements
We are looking for a tax professional with a strong background in private client services, excellent technical expertise, and the ability to convey complex tax matters simply. You should have proven post-qualification experience in private client tax and a commercial awareness with a client-focused approach.
