About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Child and Adolescent Mental Health Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust. As a Specialist Mental Health Practitioner for Children and Young People, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive assessments and interventions to support the emotional wellbeing and mental health of our young clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide regular consultation, joint work, training, and advice to other agency staff to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people
  • Hold a caseload of young people with complex mental health needs and provide assessments and therapeutic treatment programs
  • Liaise with and work in collaboration with other relevant agencies according to the needs of the young person
Requirements
  • Qualified professional with current registration with a relevant professional body
  • Experience in running groups and assessment skills would be advantageous or a willingness to access training in these methods of intervention
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with other agencies
