Senior Project Manager

Crux Product Design is a leading consultancy seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic project management team in Bristol.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a senior role and work on high-profile product development projects.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will collaborate with our multidisciplinary design and engineering teams to lead and manage the development of medical and consumer goods devices, from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple design and development projects, including initial concept, product definition, design & development, and transfer to manufacture
  • Lead and work with project teams to solve complex design, mechanical engineering, electronics, and software challenges
  • Provide programme management activities for large client accounts and client partnerships
  • Line manage other members of the Project Management team to ensure successful delivery of their projects under client projects and partnerships
  • Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and risks
  • Manage, allocate, and approve resources for projects, and manage interdependencies between projects
  • Manage relationships with clients, building trust and collaboration
  • Capture business opportunities from ongoing client project activities
  • Create and review project proposals/quotations, including defining project schedules and budgets
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' project management experience, managing medical device design and development projects
  • A project management track-record gained within a highly technical and team-oriented environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with experience of formal project reporting
  • Experience of planning multiple parallel tasks and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Ability to track project progress and deliver projects on-time and to budget
  • Strong stakeholder management experience across all levels of seniority
  • Line management experience
  • An industry-recognised Project Management qualification or certification
