Your Responsibilities:

  • Producing hazards assessments and authoring complex safety cases to justify and support critical decision-making in the design, operation, and/or decommissioning of nuclear facilities.
  • Influencing client strategic direction to support obtaining a nuclear site license for innovative designs, networking to develop the business pipeline within your capability, and presenting technical solutions to different stakeholders.
  • Working with diverse clients from defence, nuclear generation, and nuclear new build, including innovative players from the fusion and SMR markets.
  • Delivering excellent technical work, paying attention to detail without missing the bigger picture.
  • Contributing to and learning from the wider technical community within AtkinsRéalis, taking advantage of global expertise to foster collaboration within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Developing and mentoring junior engineers to further support our growth and improve our capability for project delivery to clients, while strengthening your leadership skills.
