Emerging Markets Credit Research Intern

We are seeking a meticulous intern to become a part of our Corporate Credit Research Team, with a focus on Emerging Markets. This internship offers a unique opportunity to acquire practical experience in credit analysis, evaluating credit risks in emerging markets, and supporting our team's initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform research and analysis on publicly listed firms in emerging markets to evaluate their creditworthiness.
  • Assess credit risk determinants such as industry dynamics, competitive landscape, macroeconomic conditions, and regulatory environments.
  • Examine financial documents, key performance indicators, cash flow, debt structure, and other relevant metrics to determine creditworthiness.
  • Compile presentations and reports that summarize research insights and credit recommendations.
  • Keep abreast of market changes and industry developments in emerging markets.
  • Assist in data collection, modeling, and scenario analysis for credit risk evaluation.
  • Track the performance and credit quality of portfolio investments in emerging markets.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of research methodologies, tools, and processes.

Internship Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
  • Familiarity with credit analysis frameworks and financial markets is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, with strong organizational abilities.
  • Genuine interest in credit research, emerging markets, and global financial systems.
