About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Planner to join our team at McCann Manchester. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans that drive business results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day comms planning for high-profile dynamic accounts
  • Partner closely with Strategy and Creative leads to ensure our creative ideas make most effective use of an integrated mix of owned, earned and paid channels
  • Partner closely with the clients' owned channel teams to ensure that communication ideas are adopted and executed seamlessly throughout social, PR, eCRM and.com properties
  • Develop specific and detailed consumer journeys for each campaign or activity
  • Create measurable campaign KPI's, helping to enhance creative effectiveness and improve sell rate of innovative ideas
  • Analyse campaign metrics and leverage insights from data to improve comms effectiveness
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a communications planning and/or media planning role
  • Experience in an advertising, digital or media agency (or a combination of all three)
  • Experience with integrated advertising campaigns across multiple media channels and the ability to demonstrate their impact on the brand
  • Superior professionalism with clients and internal teams
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills as well as proven ability to develop well-written documents and eloquently present
  • Well organised and detail-oriented
  • Ambitious personality who is open to helping with any task
  • Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
