About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Account Director, Connections Planning to lead our team in planning exciting, award-winning campaigns across various touchpoints. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of media channels and their role within a communications strategy.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading agency in the UK, collaborating closely with creative and account management teams within the Ford agency structure (primarily working with VMLYR). The team fosters a fully integrated approach across media, creative, and client, working together across three locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Focusing on driving sales performance through effective campaign planning.
  2. Developing audience research and planning tools expertise.
  3. Crafting clear insights and implications for media.
  4. Designing measurement frameworks to inform and optimize campaigns.
  5. Managing day-to-day operations, including campaign management and annual planning.
  6. Mentoring junior team members to develop their skills.

Requirements:

  • A breadth of understanding of media channels, especially online.
  • An interest in brand and performance campaigns, with knowledge of ecommerce.
  • Excellent knowledge of audience research and planning tools, as well as alternative sources.
  • Ability to draw clear insights and implications for media.
  • Demonstrated passion for media and understanding of what makes a great media campaign.
  • Confidence in presenting and managing senior client relationships.

Salary: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
