  • Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
  • Manage a team of 8 individuals, including 4 Yard team members and 4 Drivers
  • Produce monthly reports to track performance and progress
  • Support the Branch Manager in achieving business objectives
  • Ensure the team is set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning
  • Help process and prepare customer orders, minimizing manual handling by utilizing a forklift truck (training provided)
  • Work closely with the management team and act as a keyholder when needed
  • Inspect incoming deliveries and report any missing or damaged products
  • Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, conducting regular stock counts
  • Keep the branch clean and tidy, prioritizing Health & Safety
  • Collaborate with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Requirements
  • Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
  • A positive team player with strong leadership skills
