Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team at The Barcode Warehouse Ltd. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, generating, and cementing enterprise-level opportunities in line with the company's strategic technology and services growth areas.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 per annum, plus KPI-driven bonuses, resulting in an OTE of £29,000. You will also enjoy a hybrid remote work arrangement, working from our office in Newark-on-Trent, 80% of the time, and from home, 20%. Our benefits package includes additional holidays for length of service, Employee Assistance Programme, Company Sick Pay, Performance bonus, Company events, Health & wellbeing programme, On-site parking, and Referral programme.

The ideal candidate will have experience in business development, sales, and account management. They will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike. This role involves generating quality high-value opportunities to support the wider sales team and business plan. This will include generating new opportunities from existing and lapsed accounts, inbound lead qualification, relationship building, CRM maintenance and management, proactive identification of quality opportunities, and outbound sales activity. Additionally, you will be responsible for account-based sales activity for key target accounts, using your expertise to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate agreed amount of quality, high value opportunities to support the wider sales team and business plan.
  • Generate new opportunities from existing and lapsed accounts.
  • Inbound lead qualification and relationship building.
  • Maintenance and management of CRM in relation to activity.
  • Proactive identification of quality opportunities and outbound sales activity.
  • Account Based Sales activity for key target accounts.
