As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for starting, operating, adjusting, and stopping wastewater treatment processes and equipment, ensuring smooth operations within a controlled compound.

The successful candidate must hold a City and Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 in a relevant discipline, such as mechanical or electrical engineering. Additionally, a Valid CAT B driving license is required to operate motor vehicles. All applicants will require a security clearance and a right to work in the UK.

Main Duties:

  • Start, operate, adjust, and stop wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
  • Maintain, repair, test, and plan installations or modifications of complex systems.
  • Troubleshoot system failures on plant and auxiliary equipment.
  • Follow established safety practices and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Handle occasional exposure to communicable diseases or infectious matter when changing filters.
