**Job Title:** Senior Estimator - Commercial Construction
**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Stott and May. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost and material estimates for commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project cost plans, including resources, subcontractors, and materials.
- Thoroughly understand the contract's commercial scope, validating risk assumptions made during pre-sales.
- Collaborate with project and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Monitor design alterations and their cost implications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, construction managers, site supervisors, designers, engineers, and other contractors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or a related discipline.
- Background in construction estimating or finance is a plus.
- Solid understanding of construction principles.
- A valid driver's license and the flexibility to travel using your own car.
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in a PMO role.
- Advanced skills in reporting and data analysis.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, and database tools.
- Ability to create detailed presentations in Excel and PowerPoint.
