**Become a Power Network Technician with National Grid plc**

We are looking for ambitious individuals to join our team as a Power Network Technician in South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in electrical engineering, working on high-voltage plant and apparatus.

As a Power Network Technician, you will be responsible for the safe construction, maintenance, and repair of the electrical power network. Your duties will include routine inspection, maintenance, and repairs of substation and protection equipment, as well as recording asset routes, details, and positions.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. You must also be willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Our competitive starting salary is £17,649, which will increase as you become more experienced. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 23 days annual leave (26 upon completion of training), a pension scheme, and Sharesave options.
