Responsibilities
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, and budgets ensuring smooth project delivery.
  • Team Management: Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets industry standards BS7671, internal quality expectations, and client specifications.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage project costs ensuring projects are delivered on budget and achieving target margins.
  • Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise their impact on project success.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on project progress, budget status, and risk factors to senior management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Time-served electrical apprentice.
  • C&G 2360/2330 and C&G 2391 qualifications.
  • BS7671:2018+A2 certification.
  • JIB Gold or Black card (preferable).
  • Proven experience in managing electrical installations from start to finish.
  • Proficient in project management software tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Preferable mechanical knowledge and understanding.
