About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Supervisor to join our Financial Services practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert tax compliance and consulting services to our clients in the specialty finance industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide detailed review and analysis of complex partnership and consolidated corporate tax returns
  • Work on multiple complex issues while communicating effectively with clients and the service team
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize clients' tax liabilities
  • Train and mentor junior team members
  • Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in business taxation with a Big 4 or large national accounting firm
  • Eligible to sit for the CPA exam or EA certification
  • Prior tax compliance and consulting experience serving Asset Management clients
  • Strong knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters of Accounting or MBA
  • Active CPA or EA certification
  • Proven track record managing client engagements from start-to-end
