Join Our Team as a Geotechnical Engineer for Offshore Wind Projects

Ramboll is a global architecture, engineering, and consultancy company that values diversity and innovation. We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the delivery of offshore wind projects.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to work on a variety of offshore wind projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, preferably with an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or a related field. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the offshore geotechnical engineering field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct geotechnical design of offshore support structures, including numerical modeling
  • Plan and interpret offshore geotechnical site surveys
  • Document project results and attend project meetings with clients
  • Coordinate project developments in the bid and execution phases
  • Manage the geotechnical discipline within projects
  • Interpret site investigation and laboratory testing for offshore projects
  • Design and installation of offshore foundations for the Oil & Gas or Renewable Energy industries
Requirements
  • MEng in Civil Engineering or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Versed in the MS Office Suite of programs
  • Ability to develop and execute well-structured code in Python, Matlab or other languages
