Military Medical Personnel: Musculoskeletal Injury Specialist

About the Role:In the Military Medical Personnel, our team delivers rehabilitation services in three types of treatment centres: Primary Care Rehabilitation Facilities (PCRFs), Regional Rehabilitation Units (RRUs), and Stanford Hall Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC). As a Musculoskeletal Injury Specialist, you will provide injury-specific exercise therapy and advice on gradual return to fitness for patients referred to see a physiotherapist at a PCRF. You will also work with specialist doctors, physiotherapists, and ERIs in RRUs to develop treatment plans and provide additional treatment options, such as pain management.
The DMRC provides Consultant-led rehabilitation services and supports military patients with serious musculoskeletal injuries, neurological injuries, and complex trauma. Your aim will be to maximise functional capability and quality of life of its patients whether they are returning to military service or transitioning to civilian life.
