Production Engineer Opportunity in Swindon

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Production Engineer to join our client based in the heart of Swindon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth production process, from start to finish.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Production Engineer, utilizing your technical expertise to drive efficiency and productivity within our production environment. You will possess strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of electromechanical systems
  • Understand wiring and cable preparation, customer requirements from drawings and/or schematics
  • Create production assembly documentation, defining bills of materials and product build structures
  • Control production assembly documentation, engineering change management, control of tooling, first article approval
  • Resolving production issues in process, at final inspection or following customer returns, 8D investigation
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A qualification or part qualification in an engineering discipline
  • Competence to follow processes methodically and accurately
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work both as part of a group and individually with limited supervision
