Band 8a Psychotherapist Position

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 8a Psychotherapist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team in Greenwich. As a specialist systemic psychotherapist, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to children, adolescents, and their families, working towards a Band 8a Preceptorship.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist systemic assessment and therapy to families with children and adolescents referred to CAMHS, adhering to CYP-IAPT principles.
- Offer specialist advice and consultation regarding diagnoses and treatment to CAMHS colleagues and external agencies, working autonomously within professional guidelines.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and audit of services for families with children presenting to the Service.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to children and families.
Essential
- Postgraduate qualification in systemic family psychotherapy (e.g., MSC).
- UKCP registration (desirable).
Desirable
- Experience working with children and families in CAMHS settings.
