About the Role

Kenton Black Science & Engineering is seeking a highly skilled Cell Scientist to join our team in the North West of England. As a Cell Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting cell-based assays, developing new techniques, and collaborating with our team to drive innovation in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cell-Based Assay Expertise: Develop and validate cell-based assays, including method development and validation, to support our research and development efforts.
  • Technique Development: Design and implement new techniques and technologies within our laboratory to improve our research capabilities.
  • Flow Cytometry and Molecular Techniques: Utilize flow cytometry and molecular techniques to analyze and characterize cellular samples.
  • Report Generation and Review: Generate and review technical reports to communicate results and findings to our team and stakeholders.
  • Client Communication and Service: Provide excellent client communication and service to support our business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: BSc/MSc/PhD or equivalent in Biology/Chemistry (or related scientific discipline) is essential.
  • Industry Experience: Industry experience is essential, with a strong background in cell-based assays and technique development.
  • Analysis by Cell-Based Assays: Experience in analyzing cellular samples using cell-based assays is essential.
  • Flow Cytometry and Molecular Techniques: Experience in flow cytometry and molecular techniques is an advantage.
  • Cell-Based Assay Method Development and Validation: Experience in developing and validating cell-based assay methods is essential.
  • GxP Regulatory Laboratory Experience: Comprehensive experience of working in a GxP regulatory laboratory is essential.
