The Role of Charity Fundraising Executive

As a Charity Fundraising Executive, you will be employed by Charity Link on a permanent basis, with options for full-time or part-time work. You will receive a guaranteed base salary, ensuring a stable income with opportunities for additional earnings.

This position allows you to make a significant impact on people's lives. You will represent our charity partners, engaging with the public to secure their support through regular monthly donations or lottery sign-ups.

Fundraising activities will take place at various events, including shows, superstores, shopping centers, and town centers. Our in-house venues team will pre-book these locations to maximize your potential for securing donors during your shifts.

Your working hours will vary based on the venues, and flexibility is essential, especially during peak times in the evenings.

We provide all necessary charity-branded materials and equipment, including stands, tables, and tablets for signing up donors.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The perfect candidate will possess:

  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a drive to meet and exceed targets independently
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles, such as sales or customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, which are peak times for sign-ups
  • A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
  • A willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • A passion for advocating on behalf of the charity you represent
