Director of Operations | Private Hospital

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Operations to lead their Senior Management Team.
This is a Full time role for 37 hours per week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Educated to degree level or postgraduate leadership and management qualification.
Sound financial skills to be able to read and interpret financial data.
Experience in analysis, reporting and proposal development for capital assets and infrastructure investment.
Experience in commercial contract management including property, funders of healthcare, NHS standard contracts.
Knowledge of the service sector and the systems and processes used for revenue management and collection, debtors management.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Knowledge of regulatory requirements within hospital management.

Responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of support services within the hospital, providing leadership for the effective management of all non-clinical functions.

As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Director of Operations works with the Executive Director and Director of Clinical Services, to create and deliver the strategic, operational and business development plan for the hospital.

Help identify business development opportunities such as new services and the development of existing services.

Contribute to the hospital's business plan and support the managers and leads of departments responsible for formulating departmental plans and objectives.

Ensure delivery of NHS activity according to RTT 18 week protocols.25 days holiday per year + bank holidays, increasing to 30 days with service.
