Job Title: Senior Director, Brand Marketing

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Brand Marketing to join our Respiratory Marketing team at Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.A. in Manchester, UK.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for a brand, therapy area, customer segment or relevant above brand within the Respiratory portfolio, to lead the development and implementation of the brand and/or customer strategy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing Marketing Managers around their customer marketing skills and capabilities.
  • Co-ordinating core activities and workloads within the team to ensure delivery against the overall brand/customer/therapy plan.
  • Accountability for the implementation of specific priority core projects identified in the customer/brand plan to ensure managing promotional budget, delivering on time and meeting KPIs.
  • Leading regular reviews of core projects, with the customer strategy managers, other members of Respiratory Marketing and the cross functional team to demonstrate a continuous improvement of the projects.
  • Leading the development of communication strategy for the brand, respiratory portfolio and above brand projects and ensuring complete integration into the UK Respiratory customer plan and alignment with global strategy.
  • Tracking respiratory portfolio performance and lead on recommendations on future brand/portfolio strategy and activities.
  • Co-creation of campaigns and strategic initiatives with customers/XFT and input into customer experience strategy, omnichannel strategy and interpret channel analytics for their brands.
  • Working in close collaboration and alignment with the Cx marketing and omnichannel team in order to provide detailed briefs on the respiratory portfolio strategy, communication strategy, specifics of the campaigns and messaging.
  • Monitoring and disseminating critical insights via research, customer networks and building a detailed understanding of the NHS structure and health economy.
  • Maintaining close communication with the field force to understand their feedback on customer insight, campaigns and how they are implementing the portfolio campaigns.
  • Managing marketing materials and projects through relevant approval process from concept to implementation.
  • Effective and timely communication to all stakeholders within Chiesi UK and Corporate Marketing.
  • Peer reviews of marketing team materials.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level, preferably in life sciences, business or marketing, or equivalent job accreditation and professional qualification.
  • Experience of working as part of a brand team, ideally as a Brand/Marketing Manager. Alternatively, bringing Respiratory experience as a Sales Manager, Medical Manager, MSL or from Business Information or Market Access.
  • Track record of managing cross functional projects, including planning, stakeholder engagement, budget management and implementation.
  • Broad understanding and application of the principles of marketing /marketing process.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and detailed understanding of the ABPI code in relation to the promotion of medicines within the UK (ABPI qualified).
