Job Title: Engineering Lead - RF Communications

Location: Flexible, with opportunities to work from various Babcock sites and locations.

Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package.

Role Type: Full-time and permanent.

As an Engineering Lead - RF Communications, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work on new and innovative projects, collaborating with a talented team of engineers and experts.

This role involves managing engineering change to systems, leading engineering and system design delivery, and generating detailed specifications and designs. You will also lead operational engineering teams, troubleshooting technical faults, and managing problem resolution.

This is a full-time role, with a flexible working arrangement that includes hybrid working options. You will be based in one of our locations, with opportunities to work from home and other Babcock sites.

Essential Experience:

  • Knowledge of voice and data traffic handling and switching systems, VCCS (Voice Communications Control System) and ICCS (Integrated Communications Control System).
  • Experience with voice and data comms technologies and protocols such as SIP/RTP, ED-137, serial, IP, and TDM.
