Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Logistics and Warehousing to develop and implement a logistics strategy that drives business growth and improves customer experience. As a key member of our client's team, you will be responsible for managing multiple sites and leading a team of logistics professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage 3PL contract providers to identify opportunities for cost reduction and service improvement
  • Lead a team across multiple sites to deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) and share best practices through the logistics community of excellence
  • Collaborate with key customers to develop improved customer experiences that deliver value to the supply chain
  • Agree, manage, monitor, and deliver the logistics operating budget for both warehouse and transport operations in the UK and Ireland
  • Influence decisions across functions by understanding the operation's key areas
Requirements
  • Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, and 3PL management
  • Track record of managing multi-site operational teams and developing talent
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to analyze data to drive data-led decision making
  • KPI-driven approach to continuous improvement in logistics
