Primary Schools SEN Teaching Assistant Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team in Caerphilly primary schools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting pupils with special educational needs and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

As a SEN teaching assistant, some key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting children between 4-11 years old with additional learning needs such as Autism, ADHD, and emotional and behavioral needs.
  • Providing one-to-one support throughout the day for both academic and emotional development.
The Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is open-minded, patient, and able to build strong relationships with children and colleagues alike. Some key requirements for this role include:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • A calm and friendly approach to working with children.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive weekly salary of £12.90 per hour through our Pay As You Earn (PAYE) scheme. In addition, we provide ongoing personal support from a dedicated consultant and help with obtaining necessary qualifications and training.
