Catering Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead our team at an Outdoor Activity Centre in Swindon. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a fast-paced catering operation, providing high-quality meals to approximately 1800 guests daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of up to 15 staff, including a Head Chef, Front of House Manager, and kitchen staff.
  • Ensure correct procedures are followed, meals are prepared on time, and high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Food Safety certification.
  • City & Guilds 706 1/2 or NVQ equivalent.
  • Level 3 Management qualification.
