Lead Nightshift Manager Role

Are you a motivated and experienced leader looking to take on a new challenge? We're seeking a talented Lead Nightshift Manager to join our team at Sainsbury's.

About the Role

As a Lead Nightshift Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of managers and ensuring the smooth operation of our busiest and most complex stores. You'll work closely with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and provide coaching and guidance to your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of managers to achieve business objectives
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the store, including restocking shelves, receiving warehouse deliveries, and online picking
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement business plans
  • Coach and develop your team to improve their skills and performance
  • Make decisions at pace and take ownership of your area of the store

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Experience in a leadership role, preferably in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
  • Ability to work at pace and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Passion for customer service and a commitment to delivering excellent results
