Job Description

The Utilities Survey Manager will be responsible for leading the Service Protection team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring they have the latest information to safely work around utilities. This role requires proactive planning and coordination of works, minimizing disruption and potential damage to underground infrastructure.

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong educational background in a related field, such as civil engineering or construction management. You should also have extensive experience in civil construction projects, with a proven track record of managing teams and ensuring project safety.

Requirements
  • Essential Requirements:
  • QCF Level 5 or above in a related field
  • Proven track record in civil construction projects
  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • Familiarity with PAS 128 (management of underground assets) and HSG 47 (working with underground utilities) standards
  • Strong communication skills, organized, and able to manage own workload effectively
  • Ability to prioritize tasks aligned with master programs (e.g., P6) and ensure project safety and proactive management of works around underground utilities

In return, we offer a competitive salary range of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
