Sheppey Based

Salary: £33,000 - £34,000

Monday to Friday, Alternate Saturday Mornings

Job Overview:

Pearson Whiffin Recruitment Ltd is seeking two reliable and experienced Class 2 Hiab Drivers to join a well-established client within the building and construction industry.

As a driver, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to various sites across Kent and the South East, with minimal driving in London. You will represent the company and provide excellent customer service, ensuring a successful delivery rate and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the vehicle and lift equipment safely and effectively.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is safe and roadworthy.
  • Maintain a high delivery rate, adhering to estimated times of arrival.
  • Complete accurate records of deliveries and necessary paperwork.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 licence with Hiab.
  • Up-to-date CPC.
  • Tachograph card.
  • Must be over 25 years old.
