Job Description

\

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Primary Intervention Teacher to join our team. As a Primary Intervention Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering targeted support to children who require additional help in their academic development.

\

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing small group intervention sessions to support pupils who are struggling with specific skills or concepts.\
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop tailored learning plans that meet the individual needs of each pupil.\
  • Maintaining accurate records of pupil progress and adapting your teaching methods accordingly.\
  • Contributing to whole-school initiatives aimed at improving academic outcomes and promoting positive behavior.\
  • Supporting the development of the school's curriculum and assessment strategies.\
  • Engaging with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.\
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.\
  • Working collaboratively with other members of the school community to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.\
  • Complying with all relevant policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines and safeguarding protocols.\\/ul\

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Education or a related field.\
  • QTS or ECT status as a primary teacher.\
  • Experience working with small groups of children in a primary setting.\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\
  • Able to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers.\\/ul\
