About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of our plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement a new PM system for all plant and equipment
  • Ensure all plant and equipment are safe and compliance for use is upheld and available
  • Be 'audit ready' with all compliance and service records at all times and assist with audits
  • Lead contractors that visit the site and oversee their work
  • Hands on replacement and repair of bearings, rollers, drums, gearboxes, pumps, rams, trommels
  • Complete safety visual assessments
  • Report on operations on spending, availability and issues affecting the plant

Requirements

  • Experience in plant and equipment maintenance and repair is essential
  • Multi-skilled maintenance and fabrication experience for the role and the ability to record data records online
  • A valid driving license is required as a company vehicle will be provided
