About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childline Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people who contact us for help.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children and young people who contact us for help.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure that every child and young person receives a high-quality service.
  • Lead on key on-shift safeguarding decisions and use coaching to maintain and develop the quality of the service.
  • Ensure that every child and young person receives a safe and supportive environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background working with children and young people within a safeguarding context.
  • A passion for supporting others, especially in situations which can be emotionally challenging.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
