Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Oxford

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Oxford. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of buses, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, performing both reactive and preventative maintenance
  • Ensure maximum vehicle availability for our customers throughout the Oxford area
  • Complete paperwork, including service worksheets, timesheets, and warranty claims, in a timely manner
  • Work on and learn about various vehicle drivelines, including battery electric, hydrogen fuel cell, diesel, and diesel hybrid

Requirements:

  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of buses or heavy goods vehicles
  • Working on modern, high-tech vehicles, it would be great if you have electrical diagnostic skills, ideally using Multiplex systems
  • Mechanically you'll be comfortable with diagnosing and repairing of engines and transmission issues, as well as compressed air systems
  • Time served PCV/LGV Technician with a recognised qualification such as City and Guilds, BTEC or similar, or equivalent experience
