About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concrete Plant Supervisor to join our team at Heidelberg Materials UK. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient production of high-quality concrete products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Order Office, plant staff, and customers to ensure production meets customer requirements and quality standards.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain plant equipment, facilities, and surroundings to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental procedures and regulations, including waste disposal and water discharge.
  • Manage inventory and materials to meet production demands.
  • Inspect incoming materials and conduct weekly stock checks.
  • Ensure all employees, contractors, and visitors follow safety instructions and protocols.
  • Continuously review and improve work methods and plant utilization to maximize efficiency.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, including the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.
  • Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • GCSE grade 4+ in Math's and English.
  • Experience in concrete production and plant management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
