Early Years Support Professional

Are you a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant looking for a challenging role in an ASD-specific special school? We are seeking a skilled professional to support children with complex needs in our reception class. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the EYFS curriculum and managing challenging behaviour.
The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to children aged 4-5 years, who require additional support due to their autism spectrum disorder. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing personalized care and attention to each child's needs.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Supporting children with complex ASD and distressing behaviour needs
- Assisting with daily personal care tasks, such as toileting and feeding
- Managing sensory challenges and creating a safe and inclusive environment
We offer a competitive salary package, estimated at £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help you grow in your career.
