Job Description Overview

Mentus Recruitment has partnered with a prominent UK expert witness assessment service, recognised for delivering exceptional reports to local authorities and solicitors involved in family and criminal court cases.

We are currently seeking skilled Paediatricians to conduct independent expert witness evaluations predominantly within legal contexts. Our Paediatricians frequently receive commissions to assess clients presenting a range of conditions and provide diagnoses and treatment suggestions that aid the Court's decision-making process.

About the Position:

  • Conduct thorough medical assessments and evaluations
  • Produce high-quality expert witness reports
  • Collaborate with legal teams to discuss findings and reports
  • Attend court to provide testimony

This is a hybrid role, allowing much of the workload to be performed remotely. Key Requirements:

  • GMC registration with license to practice
  • Medical Degree (MBBS, MBChB)
  • Experience at working as a Specialty Doctor or Consultant in the NHS or Private Sector
  • Experience in Child and Family Paediatrics
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
