About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Pybus Recruitment as a PDI Technician at our Fleet Distribution Centre in Long Marston.

Job Purpose

To drive the standard in customer care and provide technical advice and carry out vehicle inspections to provide a diagnosis, maintenance and repair work, in accordance with our client's approved technical procedures, in order to keep vehicles in optimum working condition.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide the highest possible levels of technical advice, service and maintenance to all our clients' customers.
  • Work within Industry Protocols: Work within the relevant protocols, as dictated by legislation, the company, the manufacturer and relevant suppliers at all times.
  • Maintain Comprehensive Records: Maintain comprehensive records, in an appropriate and timely fashion, and ensure colleagues do the same.
  • Create a Supportive Culture: Create and maintain a supportive culture for all colleagues in line with our clients' Purpose, Principles, and Ambition (PPA).
  • Commit to Ongoing Learning: Commit to ongoing learning and development.
About You
  • Deliver High Standards: To deliver high standards of technical advice, service and maintenance to all our customers.
  • Meet the Requirements: Have a full valid driving licence, an NVQ Level 2 or 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
  • Experience and Skills: Have a minimum of 2-5 years full time experience as an Automotive Technician in a fast paced environment.
  • Time Management: Have the ability to manage time effectively to ensure you are carrying out PDI and/or minor repairs on a minimum of 12 vehicles per day.
