We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our team in the Theatre Department at Prince Philip Hospital, Llanelli.
The Main Theatre Department is a busy unit providing a range of services across a number of specialities, including general, orthopaedic, gynaecological, urological, and trauma care.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient running of the theatre department.
Main Duties of the JobSuccessful candidates will be required to hold a RGN qualification or Diploma/Degree in Operating Department Practice and provide evidence of professional development, with a desire to work within the Post Operative Recovery area within the operating theatre department.
Required skills and experience include knowledge and understanding of all surgical specialities within the operating department, evidence of continuing professional development, and a commitment to undertaking an appropriate course of study.

Person Specification- Current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professionals Council registration (HCPC)
- Registered General Nurse OR Registered Operating Departmental Practitioner
- Commitment to undertake an appropriate course of study
- Knowledge and understanding of all surgical specialities within the operating department
- Evidence of continuing professional development
This role requires a Welsh Speaker (Level 1)
