About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks and mobility
- Assist with light housekeeping and companionship to ensure clients feel comfortable and safe in their own homes
- Build strong relationships with clients and their families, providing emotional support and reassurance
- Work collaboratively with our Registered Nurse and other care professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in care and support
What We Offer:
- A competitive hourly rate of up to £16.50, with double time on Bank Holidays
- A travel and wait time allowance of £13.50 per hour, plus mileage
- Flexible part-time hours and times to suit your needs, with opportunities for guaranteed hours
- Minimum one-hour visits, ensuring you have the time to build meaningful relationships with clients
- Bespoke paid training with our Registered Nurse, including City and Guilds training in Alzheimer's and Dementia Care, Parkinson's training, End of Life, and Frailty
