Aircraft Maintenance Director

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Director to oversee and manage all maintenance activities within our Head Office facility in Erith. This is a challenging role that requires a comprehensive understanding of maintenance, capable of handling various tasks independently.

This position involves overseeing the general upkeep and repair of the building and grounds, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Additionally, you will develop and implement schedules for routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, cleaning, and repairs, to prevent unexpected breakdowns or issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facility Maintenance: Oversee the general upkeep and repair of the building and grounds.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement schedules for routine maintenance tasks.
• Painting & Decorating: Manage and carry out painting and decorating tasks across the facility.
• Plumbing & Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine checks and minor repairs on plumbing systems, electrical fixtures, and lighting.
• Building Repairs: Handle general repairs including fixing windows, doors, walls, floors, and other structural elements of the building.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the facility complies with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or services.
• Inventory Management: Maintain and manage an inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and materials.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: Assist in the preparation and management of the maintenance budget.
• Emergency Response: Act quickly to resolve any maintenance-related emergencies.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
