Financial Director

Executive Talent Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team. This is a key role that will involve working closely with the Finance Director to provide financial support and guidance across the business.
The ideal candidate will have strong management accounting skills and experience of working in a construction or house building environment. They will be responsible for preparing and producing monthly management accounts, taking responsibility for balance sheet and P&L areas, and overseeing the production of internal VAT and CIS returns.
Other key responsibilities will include:
- Managing accounts payable and assisting with subcontractor payment applications
- Providing senior management with accurate and comprehensive financial information to inform decision making and financial strategy
- Supporting the preparation of board papers and management packs
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of forecasting models
- Providing accurate cash flow forecasting
This is a busy role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to drive process improvements. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) with strong technical experience and a desire to improve processes and drive the business forward.
The salary for this role is up to £70,000 plus car allowance and benefits.
