Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Reed is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a wide range of automated security products, including sliding gates, hinged gates, barriers, blockers, bollards, and control panels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain automated security products to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and replace faulty components to prevent system failures.
  • Test systems to ensure correct setting and operation.
  • Complete a nine-point force test and report any failures immediately.
  • Accurately complete site-related reports for repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure jobs are completed within the allocated time.
  • Provide competent technical assistance when required.
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures, including Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.
  • Uphold high standards of housekeeping, including appearance, vehicles, van stock, tools, and equipment.
  • Display a proactive, can-do attitude and take ownership of problems.
