Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Criminology Lecturer to teach Level 3 BTEC Criminology and Law Courses to post-16 students in a Sixth Form college. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering schemes of work, session plans, and teaching resources.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and develop schemes of work, session plans, and teaching resources.
• Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Carry out internal verification duties.

Requirements:

• Teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, PGCE, or Certificate in Education).
• Level 3 or equivalent qualification in teaching subject area.
• Ability to manage challenging behavior.
• Experience interacting with 16-19-year-olds in education or apprentice settings.
• Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
