About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join our team at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our dermatology services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based care for patients with a wide range of dermatological conditions, including skin cancers, psoriasis, and other systemic diseases.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, including junior doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  • Contribute to the development of our dermatology services, including the development of clinical policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in teaching and training of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
  • Undertake research and audit activities to improve patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Full registration with the GMC and a CCT (or equivalent) in Dermatology.
  • MRCP (UK) or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and lead a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills.
