Logistics Coordinator

2020 Recruitment is working with a Glenrothes based manufacturing company to find a Supply Chain Administrator. This is a permanent contract, and the successful candidate will lead the supply chain responsibilities of the business.
The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for driving operational excellence.
The Supply Chain Administrator duties include:
- Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
- Managing inventory levels and tracking stock movements using inventory management systems.
- Monitoring and analysing supply chain performance metrics, such as lead times and on-time delivery.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the supply chain.
Requirements include proven experience in supply chain or logistics, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with inventory management software, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality, and knowledge of supply chain best practices and industry standards.
We are offering a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, a permanent contract, career development opportunities, company incentives, and company benefits.
