Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our partner schools in Ashford. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
  • Support individual students or small groups with learning activities.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Provide one-on-one assistance to students with special educational needs (SEN).

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children (preferably in an educational setting).
  • A patient, caring, and supportive nature.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.

  • A willingness to support students with SEN and/or challenging behaviours.
