The NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board is seeking a Clinical Advisor to support the management of primary care complaints. As a Clinical Advisor, you will provide expert clinical advice to senior managers and the complaints team, ensuring that complaints are handled in a fair and timely manner.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical advice to senior managers and the complaints team on primary care complaints.
- Supporting the development of policies and procedures for managing primary care complaints.
- Working with the Director of Corporate Affairs to identify key themes and trends from complaints, and areas of learning.
- Building positive working relationships with practitioners, the Local representative Committees, and relevant stakeholders to support the management of complaints.
- Ensuring liaison with other agencies involved in quality monitoring and assurance, including CQC and providers.
We are looking for a clinical professional with credibility and the ability to command the respect of all clinical and non-clinical professionals. You will have a good understanding of the NHS long-term Plan and health system dynamics, and a commitment to quality and safety.
The ideal candidate will be a registered medical practitioner with the GMC, hold a relevant postgraduate qualification in the specialty, and be a member of a relevant association. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team.
