Bowland Ecology Ltd: Ecologist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our team at Bowland Ecology Ltd. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for managing projects, conducting habitat and protected species surveys, and producing ecology reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage own projects, including fee proposals and client liaison
  • Plan, coordinate, and undertake habitat and protected species surveys
  • Produce ecology reports, desk studies, and plans, and data input, management, and analysis
  • Design and implement simple ecological mitigation schemes
  • Pre-works inspections and site supervision of ecological/environmental mitigation
  • Supervise Assistant Ecologists

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree-level qualification
  • Membership of CIEEM or equivalent
  • In-practice experience
  • Protected species license/s (desirable)
